I am looking to buy one of the old trifold wallets though unfortunately they have been discontinued and are no longer sold. I'd really like to buy one.

I am curious, if anyone has a trifold note-taker wallet, which they are no longer using, and that is in good condition please get in touch with me via this forum or PM and I would be happy to work something out with you via paypal in return for the wallet!

Cheers guys!

I didn't know they stopped making the tri-fold. Bummer! I have one and they hold up well (the one I have now I bought several years ago and it's still in great shape), but I'm sorry to hear they're not still selling them.

Hey, business is business and supply is driven by demand. I totally get it. Maybe I'm a luddite, but I Iove my trifold notetaker and I'll use it until it turns to dust. :)

This is truly a horrible thing. I have enjoyed my GTD wallet for a few years now, it was my answer to the various jotters I have tried throughout the years. GTD got this one completely right, no one else on the market has anything even close nor at the quality. Amazingly, Mont Blanc doesn't have one, however, the GTD fits various MB pens like it was crafted around them.

The only reason I knew they were not being made anymore is because a co-worker asked me where to get one and I told him, he came back later and told me they were no longer being sold, I almost cried.

Though my wallet is still in great shape, if I knew they were going to stop selling them I would have stocked up with four or five of them.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I've been looking for a suitable replacement for the Notetaker for years, and have a drawer full of failed attempts. Recently, though, I found Bellicoset Leather Co. wallet that when combined with the USA Custom Pad memo-sized pad and the Dango Pen Slot Card fits the bill. It is a thick leather wallet that has the potential to outlast me. The only thing that I have to do is cut off a little bit of the notepad's stiffer backing to put it into the top slot for it to sit flush. The natural closure of the wallet allows for the space for a pen, which is where the Dango Pen Slot Card comes into play to hold the pen in the center of the closure, inside the wallet.

I know there is a following for the Notetaker, mine has just aged out and I've needed a true replacement for some time. I think this combo fits the bill, at least for me. Hope this helps.

We still have one of the styles, the textured version.

We have not been restocking, as the interest from customers has slowed. I've heard from more people in the last few years who say they are using their smartphone as a tool for capturing thoughts on the go.
Big 'Not so' from me, John.....I'm still a peper based guy and I believe (unless my memory is tricking me, which is possible) that this item featured quite heavily in a recent appeal for ideas on items to introduce into the shop.

This is one of the most useful items in the shop (closed followed by the refills)

So please can the good folk at GTD HQ do a restock?

The David Allen Note-taker wallet is very elegant

On this end, much more ghetto: it's a zippered 'credit card folder' that is discretely attached to slack with a safety-pin [distractions-&-pickpockets] with Rubber-Band attached capture-paper-&-pen

Hi there!

I’ve been using Gentcreate leather wallets for a while now, and I have to say, they’re fantastic! The quality of the leather is top-notch—it feels durable yet soft, and it’s aging beautifully with use. The craftsmanship is impeccable, with clean stitching and a sleek design that fits perfectly in my pocket.

I also love the customization options on their website. Being able to choose the leather type, color, and even add a monogram makes it feel truly unique. The ordering process was smooth, and the wallet arrived well-packaged and on time.

If you’re looking for a stylish, high-quality leather wallet that’s built to last, I highly recommend checking out Gentcreate. It’s definitely worth the investment!
Any suggestions for good wallets for a man? My current one is getting tattered and should be replaced soon. A few things I'm looking for in a wallet:

1. Sufficient card slots (about six should do).
2. A good zip-up change compartment.
3. It should be big enough to fit most currencies. I remember my HK currency sticking way out of the top of my Canadian-bought wallet years back.
4. Hopefully sturdy leather.

@samuelethan

Very nice wallet specifications

If you research-&-find a "custom wallet maker" please do post

Thank you very much

David, I'm sorry to say that we have no plans to get back into physical products. Especially with a custom-made item like the wallets, the cost to produce, store, and ship would mean pricing them so highly that they wouldn't be close to competitive with the many other offerings on the market.

Wait...so you plan to never produce (or, more precisely, collaborate with other companies) any GTD-related products ever again? Boy, that is a shame. I understand big ticket items can be cost-ineffective (especially when you're working in tendem with companies like Fedon) but it would be a shame if you never produced branded goods ever again. Apparel, folders, system guides...these should be fairly easy to brand, produce and sell. I have a few ideas if you're interested!
