    Weekly Review--two inboxes

I would be careful about starting with getting to inbox zero when new as your first step in weekly review. I know that sounds counterintuitive but unless you have discipline that can be a time trap. And no rule that says you cannot split things up. So what I would do is create a daily...

...repeating tasks that help to maintain an Area of Focus, I use a physical tickler file. So each day I start with a small pile of A4 sheets on my desk that represent tasks to complete that day. I find that repeating tasks generally need to be completed on the day they fall due, unless I decide...

    Weekly Review--two inboxes

...the first thing on my list is to get my inbox to zero and I'm already stymied. I have two inboxes, one in my home "office" (really just a small desk in my bedroom) and one in my office at school. How do you do a weekly review on a Sunday afternoon at home (my preferred time and local) when...

This lives in an Action Support folder on my desk. If I keep anything written down for too long then it makes its way into my Obsidian file.

...it is great that you have moved to a new home with more space, so when you are ready to set up a GTD system, it will be easier for you to do so. Thanks for posting the photos of your new place and of your desk and three-tiered tray. It must feel lovely to have more space! Best wishes...

What you should take out from your GTD?

Lucas W., In regards to 'now' having a separate " . . . repetitive tasks [list(s)] . . . " one would also have a new repetitive tasks "list(s) tool" for 'attaching' any particular Next Action(s) especially perhaps a Next Action(s) that have become 'sticky' and is of desperate need of the...

What you should take out from your GTD?

What comes to mind is that I use recurring lists, and sometimes I put new things on to those that I want to install as habits, especially my daily list. Over time, those become habitual behaviour, and when I feel comfortable with that, I remove the item from the list.

Replacing the idea of Tool Based Contexts with Areas of Focus?

Actually, you're more right than you know: contexts are lists. David has consistently and repeatedly referred to them as lists. It's exactly right to think of them as buckets or groupings of items that you don't want to see mixed in with other actions/items that don't fit. I emphasize this...
