Any good way to export tasks from ent/outlook to a text file?

Create a custom task view (or use an existing view, like Simple List) with all the tasks & task fields that you want in your text file.

In that task view:
  1. Select all tasks (Ctrl a)
  2. Copy (Ctrl c)
  3. Open a new Note (Ctrl-Shft N)
  4. Paste (Ctrl v)
  5. Select all
  6. Copy
  7. Paste into the body of your email
  8. delete your Note

There are also some utilities that allow you to copy & paste plain text, thus eliminating the Note steps.
 
If I understand your question correctly, yes, you can can expored tasks from Outlook to a text file, or excel, or any of several other file formats.

In Outlook, choose File --> Import and Export. Choose Export to a File in the dialog, and the wizard will walk you through the rest.
