re:
To clarify, the reference is someone (being the boss or management) providing web design/hosting, and their experience with using GTD to delegate tasks to others.
Part of the framework of GTD process is delegation - "Are YOU really the best person to do this?" As their business grows, how do they hand off tasks to employees or outsource, tasks that before they did themselves.
This is a paradox for entrepreneurs and for tech people especially in startups. They are very bright, have tons of ideas, usually disorganized, and like to micro-manage things (i.e. - programs, processes, coding).
For example, say your average startup web design/host reseller. They know about programming web sites with PHP/ASP/JSP/Flash or what have-you and with the details of maintaining servers. As a host gets more clients and their business hopefully grows, how can they use GTD principles to hand off, to delegate to others those tasks that previously they did (and enjoyed) themselves but need to handoff to others to focus on growing and managing the business?
