I consider to buy digital pen for note taking, particularely when out of office, can anyone that use one of those share with experiences others!

I use a Logitech io2. I love it.
I use it to take notes which I send to onenote at the click of a button. I can OCR my writing (which I don't do that often) and it seems about 85% accurate.
One thing I love about the new software is that if I "tag" a note with a "T" with a circle around it, it sends it to Outlook as a new task.
Great for Mind Dumping!

That's neat, ckennedy. I've had my eye on these for a while, and I wondered how well they worked for capture. My thought is that - until there's digital paper - something like this can make a lot of sense. Thanks for the info.
 
I use the the Mobile NoteTaker

I try to use my tablet at meetings to take notes, but I sometimes find that just taking my foliopad is just as good. I used to scan my notes into OneNote, but have been using the Mobile NoteTaker by NexConcepts for about 9 months. It comes with very easy to use software that allows capture of the notes and then export to OneNote. The pen works great, and the capture is very accurate.

I went ahead and ordered the Cyberpad today in hopes that it will solve one of my biggest organizational issues. During meetings I will take handwritten notes usually in some sort of notepad, often picking a random unused page to hold my scribblings. Problem is that my handwriting is not the best and those notes never really made it over to any kind of action plan, project list, next action list etc...

Or if I did want to keep the notes I often found myself having to actually re-write them much neater this time before they would be useful, again using a pen.

So my plan is to use the Cyberpad with a special note-taking template (which I'll create myself in Word and print out) that will more neatly hold the information.

I thought I'd use the form-filling software for this but it appears that the software is really designed to use with the pen and the Cyberpad as a "graphic pad" to fill out forms you are looking at on your computer monitor - I won't have my computer in the meeting, so that won't work out.

Still, there is the basis of a good idea in there, just needs work.
