I'm looking to purchase a filing cabinet and would like to follow David's recommendations on getting good high quality mechanics. I do not want lateral filing cabinets and I really want one that has the spacers so that the files will not fall over.
I have been satisfied with steelcase. they have great spacers and amazing build quality. To purchase new that are about $1400 for a 2-drawer model. Much MUCH less on ebay. here is a three drawer fireproof
