Creating a task from an email in windows mobile 6.5

Used GTD for about 5 years' in a pretty standard by-the-book way. Recently been given a HTC Touch2 mobile running windows mobile 6.5 and I've added Task 1001.

Is there a way, or other software, that can create a task, with relevant category, directly from an email in the inbox as I do with desktop Outlook, which allows the email to be attached to the task.

Interested to know if I have to change the way I implement GTD now I'm also using windows mobile with desktop outlook.

It's been a few years since I've used a Windows Mobile device, but FlexMail from the makers of Pocket Informant allows you to do that. You would tap and hold on the email and choose create task or create appointment from the pop-up list. It would create the task/appointment with the email text embedded as a note. I don't know if it works with Task 1001 or if you would need Pocket Informant as well. The link is:

Hi radders,

We have just launched a Windows Mobile application for GTD called "Needian - Organize in 1,2,3"
It has the feature of creating tasks or appointments from email with just one tap, and some external betatesters told us that they prefer our email reader to the PocketOutlook one. You can watch a video demo (less than 3 minutes) in youtube:

If you are interested in checking it out, an evaluation version is available at the website:
