Just out of curiosity, what's DA's background, before becoming a productivity guru? His system and usage of concepts like FIFO and LIFO (frequently used in programs stacks) insinuate that he has some programmers/computer program. Anyone know details to this? Thanks.

He used to work at a gas station. Prior to that he studied karate. He is a part-time minister with some church. He had some 34 jobs before coming to his thang.
The Wired Magazine interview has some interesting tidbits about his life prior to GTD as well.
