Hi folks,

I'm trialing the GTD pulg-in which is great, but one thing I can get my head around..

When you create an Action from an e-mail, it places the e-mail in the Action's folder and creates a task. When you finish the task as "complete", the e-mail still remains in the Actions e-mail folder (which means you have to manually delte or move the e-mail out of the folder). Is this meant to happen?

I might be doing something worng but for a plug-in that enhances productivity, this appears to be adding an extra task...

Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks
Ralph

As far as I can tell, it's a bug that I was hoping they would address in the latest release... if it is by design, then I don't understand what purpose it serves.

The workaround (for me, at any rate) is if you OPEN the task and THEN check it complete while it is open, it seems to function correctly and delete the associated email.

I would like to see the email deleted whether or not the task is open or not. If some people *like* to keep the emails for reference purposes, then perhaps an option checkbox like 'keep action emails' or somesuch would be a compromise.

For anyone who thinks Ralph or I is just not doing it correctly, I offer the following disclaimer: I usually check off completed tasks from the 'taskpad' view of the calendar. Perhaps I don't have the correct 'complete' field mapped in or perhaps it is fully functional from the tasks section? Don't know.
