Do you synch and how your outlooks office and home?

I have used google calendar to do this. I have both outlooks synch with google and google synch with both so it keeps everything updated at home and at work. The added benefit is that I can also check my calendars online from anywhere.

I have my own exchange service (1and1.com) for this, also I use FolderShare (www.foldershare.com) for the rest of the files.

Those 2 services allow me to have in sync my 3 laptops and my iphone.

Also FolderShare allow me to remote access files on the machines in case I decide not to share the files, for example I share my working files to my personal machine but I do not share my personal files on my work machine.

This has worked incredible well for around $60 a year (the exchange service)

Best.

Calendar Sync

I too am a foldershare user but for this one google calendar is unbeatatable. Use the google calendar sync tool and you will achieve exactly what you want to.

Synch outlooks

First of all, I'd like to say thank you for the answers!

I started to have a look to Google Calendar. Great! I'll try to import/export from outlook.

But what about the Tasks? I'm using the basic suggested outlook system with Tasks, Calendar and Notes.

What do you do for them? I mean Tasks and Notes

Synch with Folder Share

I have just had a look to Folder Share. Great. I saw it's free. Nothing to pay. Isn'it?

For my project to synch two different outlooks ( @home and @office) do you synch the two .pst outlook files?

Ciao!

See Plaxo.com

Try Plaxo to sync outlook. It's free and you can set it to automatically sync. It also has some neat features for keeping contact information current for other Plaxo memebers.

Knock! Knock!

Is there anyone with this idea to synch the two Outlooks at home and at office?

Ciao!

Claudio,

You posted this a while ago, so hopefully you see this.

I have Motorola Q9c which runs Windows Mobile 6.1. I sync it to a desktop (Vista) and a laptop (XP Pro).

From the standpoint of Outlook, you need to make sure that you duplicate the categories on both machines as you create new ones. Two seconds of extra work per new category..no big deal.

The problem I have, though, is that the syncing process does not work. The sync relationships keep breaking between my phone and the PCs.

And, if I update a task on one PC, the older version on the other PC overwrites the changes. So, I can't update my task list anymore and still sync to two PCs. I think there is a big flaw in Windows Mobile.
