Does anyone use gmail as an main digital inbox?

now I'm using nirvana as list manager and evernote as reference.
I have to send attachment to evernote and action to Nirvna because Nirvana doesn't support attachment.
So I decided use gmail as main inbox.
Can you please advise me if there is someone who uses tools like me?
