Does anyone have one of the old Fedon David Allen stack trays? If so, what are the interior dimensions. I found that the dimensions listed were 14.5x9x2.75. But it is unclear if that is the exterior or interior dimensions. Thanks!

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who laments not owning a few of these beauties. No one seems to have responded to the dimensions question. My question is related -- what trays are people using that they like and can recommend? Many thanks

In full agreement with one of David Allen's recommendations:

Clear, while glass would be awesome, usually plastic; eliminates any second looks and smooth bottoms [no lip] for easy out

The description from our GTD Shop back when we sold those shows these measurements: 16" long by 9" wide by 2 3/4" tall (40.5cm x 22.5cm x 7cm.) But it doesn't say if that's interior or exterior. Most likely exterior, because people would want to know if it fits in the space they want to put it.

I do not have the trays but I must chime in and add my +1 of enthuasium for these trays... I am still interested in purchasing them and lament that I didn't buy them when they were around. Love the style, design, and side-loading capability.

I will say, however, that the leather on the Fedon products does not appear to have held up over time. I purchased the desk trays and the leather has significantly deteriorated. You can see the leather peeling off on David's in this video:

I have side-loading trays of metal mesh. The spacing between trays is quite large, and the blue finish seems to be holding up well. I bought them years ago at Office Depot.
