Hi, I hope someone can help me how to better use Outlook and GTD.I am an extensive user of Outlook. Currently, I use Outlook Tasks to track tasks or "projects." If I give a employee a task, I usually turn the original e-mail into a task, then add to the task as it comes information and updates come in, until the task is completed. Sometimes the task covers months of work and updates, all added to the task body.
However, there are many times when I send a e-mail out that does not require for me to turn it into an Outlook task. It would be better to simply place it into the @Waiting Folder.
I wish there was a way for me to see Tasks and @Waiting items in one place. I also wish I could add resposne e-mails to an @Wating item (I suppose that when that is required, I should then turn it into a Task!). I like how some programs have "dashboard" features, but I have not found one that works well for me.
I rambled a bit here, but if any one can help me find a cleaner way of keeping up with the multiple tasks and requests for information I have, I certainly would appreciate it.
