GTD Connect Audio and Video Content

Has the GTD Connect Media Content recovered from the loss of Kelly? I was a member from 2010-2014 and thought the content was awesome. From January 2014 until I cancelled in May, it seemed to me there was a significant drop in energy and quality (maybe John was trying to find his groove :)). I'm thinking of signing up again, but don't want to waste it.

Hi!

I´ve been a member since november-14, and I´m really happy, learning new stuff and getting inspired. I think John does a really good job. To me, it feels like as being a connect member helps me stay inspired and "sharp" with the GTD-knowledge and GTD-skills. Actually, Kelly has been taking part in more of the webinars, and David is also often participating. Why don´t you try it a month and see for your self?

Ditto on Karl's Post. I've been a member only for a few months, and although I'm playing "catch-up" in terms of which content is new (to me), I know my tendency is to want to "drink from the fire hydrant" of *new* for inspiration vs. continuing to practice what I've already heard before. It's one of those dang tensions....inspiration vs. implementation.

......The crazy thing is, even with the amount of content on here, I've already been educated *well* past my level of implementation.
It'll probably take years, if ever, for me to get wherever I feel like "there" is.

Hey there! So glad you got value from my contributions all of those years. I'm no longer on Davidco staff full time, as I wanted to have more time to pursue my love of photography, but I still contribute. I'll be leading a webinar next month on Trusting You've Done Enough Project Planning. And I'll be leading the Level 2: Projects & Priorities Public Course in Washington, DC on August 18th.

It's great that David Allen Company was not "offended" by your departure. I know managers that feel betrayed when the employee leaves the organization. They are neglecting the great asset that could be still available for them.

We miss you, Kelly.

I think the biggest drop in the Connect system was the switch to totally inadequate forum software. That put a huge damper on things that Connect is only now recovering from. So much energy was spent trying to fix the forums that other stuff was lagging a bit. However I think that the webinars and the additional information, especially that targeted towards the more experienced GTD users, is really coming on strong. Kelly has been one of the leaders or the main presenter in several of the more recent webinars for experienced GTD users. I've found the ones I can attend very useful and even the ones I watched later as recordings were great.

I'd say come on back, there is a lot there and it's getting better every week.

I agree. And I still find it ridiculous that the forum is not https because it is not possible to install a valid certificate. The shop certificate is invalid too according to my Firefox/Win7. So I have no temptation to buy anything... ;-)
