GTD presentation

My staff asked me to give a presentation on GTD. It's scheduled now for Friday. It looks like a need a presentation in Power Point to go through all the concepts. Can anyone help with some ready for use materials?

Regards,

Eugene.

Presentation went cool and everybody started collecting stuff right after it was finished. Now I could gain a few companions-in-arms :)

How it was. The Prepare GTD Project appeared on the list during the last week on Monday. First NA was to ask this Forum on available drafts. As deadline was Friday 9-30 then Waiting For appeared on the Calendar (Check the forum for replies Tue). When I got a draft from Canada (thanks!) I put a new NA - translate presentation into Russian for @Computer context with 2 hours blocked off as a safety net on Thu). As I expected nothing got translated during those 2 days and I "fell" into safety net where after situation analysys understood that I'd like to creat a new presentation and do not use the draft :) So the presentation was drafted during that 2 hours blocked and fine-tuned the same day in the evening as fine-tuning NA was put as All-Day Event to the Calendar. Done on thu evening with Print presentation as All-Day event NA for Friday.

well done, Eugene!

Eugene, I'm glad you got it put together.

It seems a number of us have been doing our own things re: putting together workshops and presentations on GTD. It would be useful to hear davidco's thoughts on making standard materials available - either as community service, or as a paid product. From taking with Kathryn Allen I understand that they want to keep the "DNA clean" (paraphrasing here), and that they're not in the "train the trainer" business, but another way to look at it is as continuing the educational mission of David Allen's great book - helping others work and live better!

I'm not surprised DA or DA Co does not want to get into this line of business. For DA and DA Co the value of GTD lies within the framework of copy-write; which is control. They would much rather, you and I came to them and paid them to provide the GTD service (which I fully understand and respect).

Just remember if we want to do our own thing re GTD, we have a right only to fair use and trade. So move carefully and test the waters.
