Hi all,

Does anyone know of any basic GTD tool (calendar, todo-list WITH CATEGORIES, etc.) that can run off of a USB flash drive without messing with the system's registry, hard drive etc?

For example, Palm Desktop is inappropriate because it makes extensive changes to the hard drive and the registry. Mozilla Sunbird, while it can run off of a USB drive (see http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/portable_sunbird/ ), unfortunately does not have categorized todos.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

think Java

I don't know of any off-hand, but the easiest way to implement something like this would be to find a Java applet which can do what you want. If it works off a webserver, you should be able to run it from within a local HTML document by way of the web browser of your choice.

As an added bonus you'd be able to run it on just about ANY platform for which a Java Runtime Environment exists.

Anyone know of such a Java applet?

A.
