Connect Member Question

I'm interested in the GTD Live cds but have a question: Would you consider discounting them more than the standard 10% and NOT offering the "In Conversation" interviews as a "bonus"? Obviously, the interviews are of no benefit to a Connect Member and you'd save some money too.
 
I am right on the edge of buying this collection as well, and a slightly higher discount for Connect members would push me right over!

My "GTD" budget has been spoken for this year (signing up for Connect for a year) but I would still like to buy GTDlive! (probably as a gift for my partner)
 
I find the $395 price tag to be close to gouging. Bravo to the David Allen Company if the market grabs this set at that price point.

I already own the GTD FAST CDs (8 CDs), which are no longer made, but in listening to the free clips available, I didn't really hear a single new thing to interest me in buying this new set. I'm always disappointed when I hear David Allen on TV, or on a podcast, or in an online article/interview, always rehash the same GTD examples over and over again (how many times do I have to hear "Call FRED about THAT"?).

I've been a GTD work-in-progress for almost 6 years, so I've contributed my fair share to the company (2 books, GTD FAST, notetaker wallet, NetCentrics software, $30 GTD Outlook whitepaper, etc.). I am just disappointed that there wasn't a better effort to make this audio program more accessible to the masses. Sure, it's less than a $995 one-day Roadmap seminar, but I would think that the people who would shell out $395 for the audio are in that same demographic of people who would pay $995 for the seminar. I don't think they're penetrating any new markets here at $395.

But, let the open market be the judge.

Time to call FRED about THAT! :D

Thanks so much for your feedback, you happen to be one of the lucky folks that has GTDFast- an abridged seminar program not available any longer and produced by Nightingale-Connet not by our company. I do hear what you are saying, - it is terribly difficult to take a ten CD set and put four clips of that product so less then 12 minutes of audio and have it be relevant or reveal anything about the product. I will keep trying! I did choose clips that were main points so after six years of this work you have heard those points before!

The message on these ten CDs is the same, it is all about GTD and the beauty of that to me are all the layers that are continually peeled away as I dive deeper. But everyone gets something different out of it depending on where they are in the process or not.

I do take your comments seriously and appreciate hearing from you, thanks again for taking the time to write.

Liz, I think you meant to address your comment to someone else. I only asked if it was possible to get a break on the price as I'm a Connect member and already have the "In Conversation" interviews. I do have GTD Fast, though.
