How far back does your calendar go?

I'm upgrading to a Blackberry 7100 and will be syncing my calendar. I looked and mine goes back to September 2000. Not even sure if there is a way to purge/delete older items.

I'm curious, do you just keep adding to your calendar or periodically delete old stuff?
