iPhone - Anyone Using Mail/iCal for GTD?

I just got a new MacBook Pro and there are several new features in Mail - something called Notes and the ability to create To Dos. Is anyone successfully using this with iCal to do GTD and also using an iPhone that it syncs with? Thanks for any feedback!

The inclusion of Notes and To Dos in Apple Mail has not worked out very well, and gets very little attention these days. I tried it in the early days of Leopard, and got duplicates and lost information. The iPhone does not support the To Dos in iCal, and does not support the features found in Apple Mail to support Notes and To Dos. Unless there has been some huge change I am unaware of, I recommend not attempting to use these features of Apple Mail.

I do use iCal and Contacts with my iPhone. For to dos and notes, I use two applications from Appigo ($10+$5) that sync with Toodledo. Toodledo is a web service you can use for free, but I pay $15/year for some extra features. This set-up is working extremely well for me, and I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

Thanks!

Well, just as I suspected... close, but no cigar! Sigh. Oh well, I have been using Omnifocus, and it works fairly well. I was just hoping.... I wonder why Notes works with the iPod but not with iPhone?
