In addition to printing file labels for GTD, I like to print mailing labels, almost always one-at-a-time, on my old Brother P-TouchPC. Outlook has my contacts. Here are the options I have explored so far

1. Use Outlook's native label-printing, which insists on using Word for printing labels. It is slow to load and wastes about 3" of label stock for every label.

2. Cut and paste the name and mailing address from an Outlook contact into the P-Touch software, which wastes about .75", apparently the irreducible minimum.

I have not yet tried the free Avery software. That's next. Does anybody have any superior alternatives ?
