Hi all,
My name is Jordan, I write phone apps with my brother while I travel, under the name Mijoro. We just finished our first app, a simple reminder tool called Jotter which is available on Android and Palm's WebOS, for free.
Neither my brother nor I are GTD'ers. We were just making an app that sets up reminders as simply as possible (Jot a note down, press enter and have the note emailed to you for later) but, once we released it, we found several of our 5-star reviews came from people who used it with GTD. Now we'd like to add some features that make it a better tool for GTD'ers, but we're not familiar enough. We don't know how.
That's why I'm turning to you. I'm reading the book on GTD now, but even if I were well read, I wouldn't be familiar with the in's and out's of using GTD as you all are.
I'd like to pick your brain for how we might improve Jotter, specifically for GTD users, and what the community thinks/feels about Jotter as it is. We're aiming for the simplest possible reminder application, and will try to add any worthwhile features in a way that keeps the UI clean and maintains that goal.
Thank you for your time spent reading this, and if you try out our app. Hopefully, with insight from you all, Mijoro will be able to turn out a special GTD version of Jotter that will be the best mobile collection tool you can use.
Cheers,
~Jordan Feldstein
