I would like to hear how you handle the input you receive on the actions that you execute?
While GTD provides a quite natural work stream from project to actions, id does not provide any solid feedback loop from actions to projects and this is something that have started me to lose faith in my trusted system. And you know where it goes from that..
Here is what I mean. Many actions results in some kind of follow up. While cases where the result of a very small action as: "Email Sally about next assignments" results in a huge pile of documents and by GTD terms perhaps hundreds of projects in the end might perhaps not give you the same level of satisfaction during review this is however not where I struggle.
On the opposite, its on the small items where I struggle.
The 2-minute rule shall provide safety from GTD overhead when it comes to any small brand new stuff. However when "something" then is part of a project this do not longer apply since this peace of info will be detached from the project.
Since there is no natural feedback loop from to action - to project i would like to hear how you manage this for really small thing like - Where did you put that box of nails from @harware store?
