ministers using GTD - new

About 7-8 months ago I started a thread to see if there were any ministers out there using GTD in their churches/parishes/ministries. We had a helpful (to me at least) dialogue.

Since some time has past and we no doubt have new people viewing the forum, I'd like to bring it up again.

Any ministers out there who would be willing to share how they are using GTD?

Chris

I am a Minister of Education and I use GTD with my tablet pc - the only way to fly !! Like most I struggle with the weekly review, but the process makes my life easier in balancing all of the projects and next actions.

I'm a Senior Pastor. GTD has been a tremendous help to me in managing the ministry. The Weekly Review is a challenge but I'm growing in consistency with it, knowing that it's the only way to stay on top of it all.

Any others out there?

Are you willing to share the ways you implement GTD? What are your context lists? What other types of lists do you use? Do you have any applications from GTD that you use in your weekly sermon preparation/organization?

Not specific to GTD, but how do you organize your sermon/teaching files?

Chris

You can see mine in the post: Simplify your Lists or Throw away palm

I use a lot of the same lists as most people : @computer, @action, etc.. I do divide my projects up between home, and church. Since I use MindMap each project that has a map has "mp" attached to the name so I know where to get additional information.

All of mine is on a tablet pc so I can make all of my meeting notes and file them by topic using "onenote". Therefore, whenever I am in a meeting I not only have all of my projects - but any notes and information that I need. This has been the most helpful.

I use it for everything - projects, Bible Studies, you name it. It is a great way to flow.

I am a pastor too. I have recently starting implementing GTD, and I use MM and the GTD outlook add-on. I am too interested how MM is used for sermon and Bible study preparation. I also would like to know what kinds of project maps have been developed to aid the work.
