mobile list making and planning

Yesterday, I saw a demo of Dragon speech-recognition software. The most obvious application that comes to mind is capturing thoughts during my daily commute.

Generically, we are talking about capturing spoken words. This could be done with a simple recorder. The next step up is to have spoken words automatically converted to text. I imagine that Dragon is just one of many ways to do this.

So -- has anybody tried voice-to-text approaches for GTD? What are your recommendations?

Thanks,
Rob

Dial2Do

I am using Dial2Do (http://www.dial2do.com). Once you've set it up online, you simply dial a local number, say "reminder" then record up to 20 seconds. The system converts your words to text and emails them to wherever you want (mine goes directly to my Toodledo Inbox). Couldn't be easier.

It is free or you can subscribe for additional features.
