MP3 Players - Productivity Tools?

Aside from putting your CD's and music on these -- a nice enough feature -- how else can you use an MP3 player as a productivity tool for "getting things done"?

Am interested in any uses or ideas. Thanks!

I use mp3 (adide from hearing music) to:

1. collect - random thoughts (during communting, exercising, and so on).

2. read - I download books and listen to them while cleaning the house, commuting and so on).
