OL won't default tasks expanded/collapsed as last view

Has anyone else had this problem? I used to be able to select the "as last viewed" option for having my Outlook Tasks in the Calender view expanded/collapsed. Now this option is grayed out and the action categories are all collapsed.

Anyone know how I can solve this?
