Outlook: View calendar and tasks on one page?

Hello everyone. I use outlook for my gtd system. Does anyone know of a way to view tasks and the calendar all on the same screen? I woudl like to drag project actions to my calendar each morning to give me a rough idea of what i want to acomplish each day. I would like the ability to simply drag a task over to the the appropriate timeslot on the calendar. However i can not do so at present because i do not know how to set this view up. Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks!

BTW: Outlook 2007 provides an awesome way of organizing projects and tasks sorted into context's. Please see attached screen shot of how i do this.

There is a "Taskpad" view in the Outlook calendar application. Open your calendar. If you only see appointment slots, move your mouse the right side of the window. There's likely a hidden pane there that you can click and drag left. This will show a grid of mini calendars by month as well as a view of the Tasks application (the Taskpad). If you don't see a task pad, click the bottom of the window below the monthly calendars and drag it up. The taskpad should appear.

If these directions don't help, try searching for "Taskpad view" in Outlook help.

When you are in the calendar view, click on 'view', then click on 'Taskpad'. It should pop right up in the viewing pane.

Try this too:

Open Calednar view

At the very bottom your screen, you should see small font that says "Tasks: 7 active tasks"

On the bottom right are two little up arrows ^. Click that to expand that bar

My personal favorite calendar/task view, since I can see multiple task due dates over multiple days.

which outlook version?

I tried but I cannot see this small font. Is there anything on Internet to have a look?

View Tasks in Calendar (Outlook 2007)

In order to view the Taskpad while you are in your Calendar, just press Alt-F2 several times until you see your tasks on the right of the Cal. window.

Succes!!
