Problem-based Learning

The way I learn Getting Things Done could be described as PBL -- I have a specific real life problem, I decide what should be learned to address that problem, then I do it. And voila -- I am using GTD.

I am running into the PBL (problem-based learning) approach elsewhere, as well. Will you give me a pointer to forums that discuss what is necessary to succeed with PBL, where it can go wrong, and how to work around shortcomings?
