Processing best practices

I was processing my voice memos. One of them was to find out how to pass a presentation for my customer. I didn't remember if I had a project for that next action in place. Am I supposed to enter the same project name twice and clear it up during weekly review or go to my project list, check if it was there and then move firther?

Do you have any other best practices for processing? How much time it takes you daily? What time of the day you do it?

There is no black/white rule on this in GTD. If you want to clean up along the way, that's fine. If you want to just add it and clean it up on your next Weekly Review, that's fine too.

I always like to check the project list and keep it up to date and current. Keeping a complete project list has helped me a lot with managing projects. Mine's electronic, so I keep it in order of priority, which is worked out during the fortnightly meetings with my boss. This helps keep the most important projects moving along

Kelly, when in a flow a person tends not to mention how much spent on the work. Is there any best practice for controling the time of cleaning and processing along the lines (aka on the fly). I mean it could take the whole day just processing instead of doing.

Use your best judgment. The "Threefold Nature of Work" is a great guideline for this. You need to follow your own intuition about how much time you're spending on each.
