Project support materials in the Tickler instead of Notes section?

I was processing inbox today. One of the notes was an option of how I can move the active project further. So it was a part of a project plan. It was easier for me to put it into electronic tickler (@Tickler folder that I check every weekly review) then to search for the project it belongs to, then opening project notes and typing it in (I use Pocket Informant for my GTD setup). Is it GTD or anti-GTD way?

There's nothing anti-GTD about it. As long as you are seeing the reminders of your work as often as you need to keep things moving forward and off your mind then you're doing just fine.

Support materials can come in many different forms including Word documents, e-mails, formal project plans in MS Project, notes taken on paper or even items scribbled on napkins. There's no one single way to organize them all. If you find something that works for you, stick with it.
