Projects. Where to define done?

The "official" GTD nomenclatura for this is "project support material", sometimes just called "support" or "project support". It gets introduced in the part of the book where DA talks about filing things way.

One item in your project support for a given project would be a project plan in which you write down all the project details: purpose statement, outcomes, milestones, etc etc
 
Many (or most?) apps have a comment field for each project, which can be used for summarizing the purpose/outcome etc.
