Purging appointments in Outlook

Hi guys

First time post here, although I have lurked for a long long term and gleaned valuable insights.

I have a question concerning Outlook. Is it possible to purge expired appointments i.e. one's that have long gone. I synch between my Ipaq and my PC and would like to purge old appointments to keep the space down.

Thanks

Paul

You can use the AutoArchive function in Outlook. Simply right click the calendar folder in Outlook and choose properties. Then on the Auto Archive tab set your purge date parameter. You can archive to another file that does not sync to your Ipaq or delete the appointments all together.

Autoarchive

Right! You just create an Outlook Archive folder, and then set the parameters of when to Archive each Outlook component.
I have my Calendar set for 3 months, but you can set it for 1 month, or a year, whatever you need.
The info in the Archive is a different PST so it is not HotSynced to the Palm.
Seach in the Outlook Help for Archive, and Autoarchive.
