sequencing and prioritisation

In terms of working on projects, when I get to the brainstorming phase I note down everything I can think of. This helps me get a strong idea of all the components. I tried putting a project list in Wunderlist, to then be able to move the items around until I got the sequencing right, to then select the next action, and actions to follow. Once this had been done, I then wanted to assign dates and reminders to the component tasks.

It was only then that I found out that Wunderlist does not have the facility to re-ordered activities. I can try doing this all on paper, but a computer facility to do this would really help. Any ideas?

(Also, in terms of setting reminders of dates, it would be good to link this up to my google calendar)

Thanks

James

I like to do that, too.

There are plenty of apps that will let you do that - Nirvana, Zendone, GTDNext, Doit, just to mention a few.

Using dates is usually not advisable. If you want to hide the actions that are not-yet.next etc you are better off using some more convenient workaround or even use a special built-in feature. Some apps (e.g. Zendone, GTDNext, Nirvana) have the capability to automatically hide the subsequent actions.

I don't understand your statement that Wunderlist doesn't allow you to reorder items. Wunderlist is better than most list apps, allowing manual re-ordering of lists, items on lists, and sub-items within items.
