Symbian - any GTD experts?

I'm using a Sony Ericsson P900 which uses the Symbian platform. I am struggling to get the tasks to sync with outlook and carry across their categories - all I get is a long list of tasks - not much use! Any tips? I have had a quick look at Agendus but I can't see how this helps sync the categories. I really don't want to have to double enter the category list. Any help much appreciated I don't want another new gadget???

Before buying my Palm Treo I checked out the Sony Ericsson P900 phone and the Symbian operating system it uses to see if it would work for my purposes.

Unfortunately, the answer to your question is that the P900 link software will not synchronize categories with your PC. Amazingly, this appears to be deliberate on the part of Sony. If you go to their support site and work though the Knowledge Base you will discover that they come right out and say that syncing of categories is not supported.

My guess is they didn't want to compete with their line of Clie Handheld PDA computers.

There may be third party software that will do what you want, but I'm not aware of any. You might want to try starting each Task listing with a code like "@C -Call Fred" so that like items will group together in the Task List.
