Sync Nozbe Calendar with Google Calendar

I use Google Calendar to heavily and have shared it with others. Is there any way to sync Nozbe Calendar with Google Calendar so that information added to either would be replicated?

You can push Nozbe events to Google Calendar, but not vice-versa. In Nozbe, go to the "Calendar" tab and look at the "iCal" fee at the top. Copy that link, then add it to your Google Calendar. It works very well and is quite useful!

I'm not sure I understand exactly how to "add it to my google calendar"? I see the link but am not understanding what happens and where to put it. Thanks very much for your help mickmel.

At the top of the screen choose "Settings" and then "Calendars". In there choose "Import Calendar", then choose "Add by URL" at the top of the page. Put your Nozbe iCal address in there and that should be it.

Good luck!

OK so I figured out how to do an "import calendar" in google where I pasted the ical link from Nozbe http://www.nozbe.com/page/ical/get-username.pin.7 into the Google import calendar field. Google "added it" as a calendar item but as Alexandre mentions here http://www.nozbe.com/gtd/forum/sect...calendar_sync_with_google_calendar_and_iphone , I am uneasy with yet a third calendar. If it is only one-way sync anyway, it seems a little pointless but I want to give it a try anyway to see what I am missing. Can you provide any further insight?

Anyone tried the newly endorsed Omnifocus tool for both iPhone and desktop. At $160.00 total for a family pack (both desktop and 2 iPhones), it's EXPENSIVE to say the least but might be worth it.

I use Google Calendar as my primary calendar, so having Nozbe items show up on there is just a bonus. For my day-to-day tasks, I simply use the Nozbe "Next Actions" tab, since it will automatically move tasks to "Next Actions" on their due date.

The advantage to having it in Calendar is for planning stuff in the future. If someone calls me for a planning meeting on the 25th, I can pull up Google Calendar and see that I've got a bunch of other tasks due the same day and then make a decision based on that.
