One thing that stood out for me in this article is the subtitle, which says, "spend less time making lists and more time getting things done." Often when people are new to GTD, they think that they'll spend more time making lists and maintaining the system than they will save by clearing their mind. But it's all about making the right lists -- distinct lists of concrete next actions and defined project outcomes.
