I read this WSJ article this morning and was truly impressed. (And this from someone who's not an MS fan.) It appears to be his successful way of taking on planning at the 30k and 40k levels.

I am going to write Bill a paper saying i am doomed, but if i get 100 million from him, then i won't be doomed anymore.

Also, i find the fact that he is addicted to Diet Soda funny. Every week i get forwarded emails from people saying how NutraSweet, etc, are "neuro-toxins" and will destroy your brain.
I guess one could look at that both ways....

Lastly, i bet that little cabin is a ruse. I bet there is a secret underground bunker there that leads straight to some massive fall-out shelter in the mountains, and he has dozens of world leaders and generals down there, where he issues his orders for the UN and the White-house, and is interrogating the advanced extraterrestrial Alien Beings that crashed at Roswell.
