Time specific reminders

Imagine you have to call your boss any time from 17.00 to 19.00 or you need to be reminded of some information anytime from 19 to 22. Where would you put that reminder in your system not to see it before? I use Outlook setup but different opinions would be of interest.

I'd use my calendar for that and set an alarm, if necessary.

I'd have the apt. in my calendar (iCal) plus an alarm set on my Treo cell phone that syncs to the calendar for 5 minutes before.

I second that. In your case I'd create an appointment "Call boss before 19:00" that starts and ends at 17:00 with an alarm set for the same time. If 17:00 comes and you have to bump it to 17:30 do so and reset the alarm.

Of course, this doesn't work well on paper.
