I work in a classified job where I'm unable to use my PDA so I need to switch over to a paper system. Any suggestions?

I just started using Time/Design system for my paper GTD. It's GTD in paper form!

I've also started using time design. I haven't gotten the full system yet, but I am working towards that goal. I think it's a great system.

I switched the remaining calendar items and Tasks out of my PDA this morning and am ready to go now with Time/Design. I'll use it until December and see how I like it or if I'll go back to the PDA. I had become bored with the PDA (5 yrs use) and needed a change. David's essay in "Ready for Anything" about being in a rut challenged me to rethink my old PDA system. I will continue to keep my contacts in the PDA, as well as any large files I don't want paper copies of.
palm to paper
I like everything about Time Design except
a.)the monthly pages. I like boxes for the days not the linear lines
b.) their hole system makes it difficult to add any other pages of notepaper or specific financial form that another planer makes
c.) having everything in that neat little box is nice but I want my previous months days to be an an archive notebook close to me that I can just grab and refer to instead of unwrapping day notes in the time design box.
That said I use the palm simply for calendar and phone numbers. I do use the desk top to keep a very simple list of projects and next actions but I print out and work off the copy in my planner. I use franklin covey planning pages that are set up for GTD

I print the monthly calendar from outlook as I also like the boxes. I also created NA lists using word. I use the data bank section to separate my @ categories. I also created my weekly pages in word. I use tables to create them. Until I am able to get the whole system, I will continue to do so. Who knows, maybe I won't ever need the system. I have spent years trying different systems and put a note in my planner that I have to stick to one. I like the way I have it set up, for the most part. I've discovered that simpler is better. I don't really need all the little extras. I want them, but I don't need them.

a) you can get monthly forms in 'box' format, or printout from an calendar program.
b) The holes are in European format, not a problem get the punch from them (have two, 1 at work , 1 at home). 8.5x11 paper folded in half with a small border (same as action sheet) punches nicely
