There are scripts to speed up reentry of information in to Google Calendar
1 script will take an ical file (ending in .ics) and extract the information to add an event to Google Calendar. This can be run via an AppleScript in a Mail Rule.
The other scripts are for Address Book and will create a telephone meeting or meeting booking based upon the content of a person's address book entry.
