Vincent Van Gogh the real GTD founder?

I now read this thought of Vincent van Gogh:

Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together.”

–Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890)
Dutch painter

so now I'm confused! Is GTD his copyright? :D

Even if it'd been van Gogh's copyright, it would've been expired by the time DA registered his copyright. :) I'm no lawyer, however, and may be mistaken.

This quote reminds me that "living your dreams" is about doing the everyday actions that slowly turn the dreams into reality. The strength of GTD, to me, is that it's practical approach to pursuing your higher horizons makes them achievable.

For me, splitting tasks into physical actions and focusing on the very next action was real epiphany. I realized how often in the past I contemplated a task instead of doing it obviously because it was too big to be completed in one sitting. :)
