We all know what constitutes what i feel bothered is that david doesnt have suggestions for the daily review, yearly quarterly and so on.

Does anyone have suggestions for things they do for the OTHER reviews instead of weekly?

Like for example for daily review I've learned that I need to

file and answer email..
clean out my inbox ( I often get alot of action items through email that cannot wait till the end of the week
process my notes etc..

anyone have any other suggestions thanks?

I think it depends on you.

I spend my monthly review re-examining my projects and goals, trying to remove projects that don't fit with my goals and adding projects that do. But that's just me.

What do you feel is missing?

Daily review

*Review calendar for previous day, today, tomorrow
*Straighten desk (end of day)
*Clear in-box, e-mail, voice mail, Palm note pad
*Sync Palm

Write thank you note to someone.

If you look in the back of the Ready for Anything book, DA suggests the following:

20K Focus Areas monthly
30K 1-2 year goals quarterly
40K 3-5 year goals yearly
50K Life Goals yearly+

My experience is that this is about right for me. In times of change, more frequent review at all levels may be needed. As for a daily review, I don't feel I benefit much from it. I do occasionally put tasks on the calendar as things I really, really want to get done today, even if they don't absolutely have to from the perspective of external requirements.

My main idea not to make the process too difficult (not to spend hours for any reviews) but guarantee the system works for my Life Purpose, Vision and Goals. So I have minimalist Review Lists because I don't have more then 30 min per day for any kind of review.

Daily Review: take all inboxes to zero and put resulting actions to the System;

- Check email inboxes
- Check paper inboxes
- Check dictaphone (I use it because drive a lot)
- Check NA lists for completed Project NAs and put the Next Action for each

Weekly Review: make sure each project is moving (has corresponding NAs);

- Check Project List and make sure each Project has an NA
- Check Calendar (past and future)
- Check SomedayMaybe List

Monthly Review: make sure all areas of life are moving and have related Projects;

- Remove completed Projects out of Project List as well as Project Materials
- Check Roles List and make sure I have at least one Project under each

I didn't come to my first Yearly Review yet so can figure out the minimalist Review for this point. I think that should be related to higher levels that I'm working on now. I think that the Life Goal (not Goals) can be changed yearly because I have the one and for the whole life. I would say that it's incorrect to say the Life Goal even better to say Life Purpose ("how" to live because "where" to live differes for all of us and changes with time). What could be changed is short term and middle term goals ("where" to live). That's what I want to put into the minimalist Yearly Review principle.

Eugene.

Outstanding Responses to all of you.
I didn't read the Ready for Anything book yet, so thanks mcogilvie

Does anyone know where to find this blog entry now? I'm looking for guidance on the monthly review and this seems like just the right thing.

Kelly ate Jason.

Unfortunatelly it seems that we have the evidence that Kelly Forrister ate Jason Womack.

Or maybe Jason Womack was just an illusion?

And now seriously:

I think that there were some important ideas in Jason's posts in his blog published by DavidCo. I assume that all information published by DavidCo is its property. So - regardless of the reasons of Jason's departure - there is no reason why his posts were removed. I hope this mistake will be fixed as soon as possible.
