Google Tasks for GTD?

Does anyone use Google Tasks for their GTD system?

I currently use Outlook tasks which syncs nicely with my Blackberry, but my office is moving from Blackberry to iPhone so I'm going to lose my Tasks sync.

I thought if I moved to Google Tasks, I'd have easy access to my tasks on the iPhone as well as on any desktop (though I've never used iPhone before so don't know if this is a reasonable assumption yet).

For those that HAVE used Google Tasks, do you just set up a new "list" for each category (e.g., "@Computer, @Phone, etc.)?

Thanks in advance!

Toodledo

Try www.toodledo.com. I have been using it for about a month. I switched from a failed system based on Outlook tasks. The failure came from an inability to be effective with my Android phone. Toodledo has an app that makes it work. They speak GTD as well. You can set contexts, locations, categories, etc. It's great.

GQueues

I tried using Google Tasks for GTD, but found it didn't have enough features (no tagging, no way to delegate, no reminders, etc...). So I forged out on my own and created a task manager called GQueues (www.gqueues.com) that still integrates with your Google Account and Calendar (and mobile), but has the missing features necessary for GTD. Check out the video to see one way that it works: http://www.gqueues.com/GTD

Wow Cameron. That looks amazing.

You have nailed everything I have been searching for. :) Any chance this could be locally hosted on your own server?
