'my new rules' for habit of a daily 6 point list. version 1

'maybe would make sense - to post about the topic of planning, making daily to do list on GTD forum - where are sharing about the projects system (which felt like I personally never really got the hang off.

32 that was something on my mind for a while - trying to share 'my new rules' for habit of a daily 6 point list.

"I - have other threads on this fourm where users .
I could tag
- have suggested a type of 'paper binder' system - where the whole - thing is trying to be methodical .

I could give litearl example of using one note:

QUOTE"
Or @ 22 52
"here we go again - is it really beneficial for ourselves.
To actually write a - "ivy lee list.

  • Or best type it
"conjure everything up my attention.
QUOTE"
where basically - i made a FB post - just trying to narrate myself making a list out the blue digitally, which is a bad habit.

"If I write using paper" then it is better.

...
S I B D N?

"What is it?
An idea - that our current ' plan tomorrow habit/routine isn't working best.

I so can write new quantitation quantification.

Or write new ideas about topic.

Where would be best place to write about making a daily to do list?

or 12:03 4
could call this 'version 1 , post it
see maybe certain users will understand the concepts
-while I try to make a next version improve

It could be worth that I add pictures of lists , from the past
or even other peoples videos, articles about these topics

@fooddude
or @gtdstudente come to mind?

making to do list daily is against GTD main philosophy?

user @Wilson Ng suggested to myself to do list in past

I feel like contexts aren't best for myself and by using smaller to - dos I am able - maybe ?

Yes it is the main philosophy of gtd. You can only do “wash the dishes” at home. You don’t need to see it when you are doing errands or are at work. It needs to show up when and where you need it to.

"You don’t need to see it when you are doing errands or are at work. It needs to show up when and where you need it to." im not sure I understand your writing here?

are you writing that I shouldn't be seeing a paper to do list if I am trying to implement gtd philosophy?

You should look at your @home list when you are at home. You should look at your @errands list when you are doing errands. GTD doesn’t rely on to do lists.

GTD is from contexts. We don't do daily to do lists.
The following quote from the GTD book comes to mind:

If you are that rare person who has only twenty-five next actions, a single Next Actions list might suffice. It could include items as diverse as “Buy nails,” “Talk to boss about staff changes,” and “Draft ideas about committee meeting.”

"@home list when you are at home. You should look at your @errands list" i haven't looked in those 2 lists in my paper binder for a long time

wouldn't know where to start?

I have ad hd symptoms

so I struggle with very long lists?

are you saying it would help if I used less lists Sarah?

have I missed something?

Well yes day and/or time specific would. But we don’t do daily to do lists.
@fooddude

Thank you for your good GTD reply

In facilitating a Mind Like Water's "North Star," conitinuing to wonder if random ". . . daily to do lists'" might ever be randomly good for appropriate GTD engagment and intrinsic Mind Like Water 'output' ?

Thank you very much

As you see GTD fit. . . .

No you put time specific, day specific
THIS is something I must have read about in the past multiple times - but at same time up to the present moment felt as if I never have been able to do it properly - basically #with my symptoms of ADHD
, and tickler items
I
on your calendar. All other next actions go on a context list.
im not doing this properly right now in GTD style on paper
David Allen started GTD because he found to do lists to be "incomplete, unsustainable, and unworkable"
#with my symptoms of ADHD - maybe I can't take allens advice?
