idea - of post in GTD fourm

about the topic of my bad habit or worse habit I could describe as:
disorganized list making

basically i have a certain habit of using or making certain lists in different ways such as using 'one note' , or icloud note pad on laptop , or using iphone notes

26 the purpose of this post would entirely be something - to get me to learn how to better time manage per say or just use list managers in a certain way

what is the bad habit? - it is ' at multiple times during the day, more than once - starting making 'new lists' digitally - mainly right now in different digital software locations I mentioned above - and then paradoxically not reviewing them afterwards ' or ?

I could give physical example to go with this post - such as previous day say 3 days ago when I got back from my job maybe - I made a new one note page in one note laptop - things on my mind - such as I could be helped I feel as if I sorted the problem of 'my fathers roy white bicycle with pannier bags' - then I've just left it since, and its more than just this one thing

' - the cause of myself doing this I think is myself being overwhelmed

or can I come up with a system - where I don't 'just let things go, get forgotten about?

"I probably have written about this topic before,
I must have

about implementing Gtd the best way I found was to stick to an habit almost one entire week.

For example I had difficulties about collecting at the beginning. I decided to carry a little note book and a pen everywhere to collect and put a paper inbox and work on my collecting habits for a week. Then focus on nothing else but the collecting habits. I used the GTD book for that.

The book tiny habits explains that it is better to focus on one habit a a time. GTD is a collection of habits. It is difficult to get a the beginning and I guess an illusion to implement everything at the same time.

One suggestion make a simple list of what could be an habit with gtd, update it regularly, take one only and stick to it for one week. Then the very next week add the second habit and do both etc...

Another example would be to stick to the 2mn rule.

A bad habit would be to try to modify GTD until it becomes natural or to avoid GTD rules.

What exactly did the inbox look like?

a simple checklist - your saying is starting point for myself building things?
It is for me one of the most crucial habit of GTD.
right yeah sometimes I hear 'well I could do that within 2minutes ' - but at the same time hear a statement like - like yes but i'll do it when I go to do X thing - do you understand?

The rule is simple when something happens if you can do in less than 2 mn just do it yourself.
eg
Sort something
Clear your desk

Do GTD By the book it is well explained

right
thanks for picture?
I - have basically the same blue plastic, 3 in room
