Getting Things Done via the iPhone

I am trying to figure out how best to use David Allan's system with my Iphone. It seems perfect now that I can access the internet from anywhere and countless applications are available for productivity.

I use MS Outlook at work and have reasonably restricted internet but can 'send' to outside email addresses. I cannot receive outside email unless it is sent to my work email address. I can access Evernote from work.

I have just gotten an iPhone and an Evernote account. Evernote allows me to access attach any type of document to a single note, has tagging, folders, etc. I need to make the best use of these two tools for GTD. I am specifically interested in the experience of others with specific regard to Evernote and/or the iPhone

Suggestions are much appreciated. My current understanding (outline) of David's Book is attached.

evernote is great for notes and reference material on the iphone, web , desktop they all sync together .

you say you use outlook at work , is that just for email or calendaring also ?

is your company on a microsoft exchange server ? do you have Internet access at work ?

I need to know some more details before I can offer suggestions .

Toodledo

Check out Toodledo for task management, has a native iPhone/Touch client. Also, Pocket Informant is soon to be available for the iPhone/Touch.

Paul - thank you for your response
Outlook at work does connect to a corporate exchange server. I can and do use the Outlook calendar at work for work items but would actually prefer a calendar solution that my Work Outlook could forward to somehow so that the data is available and reminding me everywhere I am. I do have internet access at work and at least for some websites and on my iPhone for all websites. Your further suggestions as to how best to incorporate all this into GTD are greatly appreciated. Thank you again for such a speedy reply.
