This weekend I needed to move in a hurry. Friday my family was offered incredible career opportunities and hence by Sunday night needed to have everything out of our original apartment to a new house about 30 miles away. Saturday was my scheduled Weekly Review which got lost amidst packing boxes.
For the past year I enjoyed having inboxes in my room and folders storing all aspects of my life. I had Read & Review holder/trays that held all my reading material etc.
Well, at my new place I can't really have that. I feel I sacrificed desk space for closer driving to my school and work. For the past 4 days have used my plastic manila file folder holder as my inbox which has always worked great, except when items that go in the inbox aren't paper but rather say...batteries, when I need to get new batteries for my flashlight.
What I've enjoyed recently having my inbox with me at all times is I really can't let it get too big before actually processing the items in there. I'll admit i've gotten lazy here and there letting my inbox cruise for 3-4 days or just wait it out till the weekly review. At the behest of carrying about a full backpack I feel obligated to process my notes, etc.
But thats kinda it, honestly. I'd rather open this up to discussion, seeing methods i've not discovered yet.
Cheers!
