In the past I have used the GTD and gSynict addins for Outlook, however now neither one of these work anymore, i.e. I get at “No compatibility information available” notice. So, now what do I do?

I’m looking for some advice, Evernote? OneNote? Google Apps?

Thanks,
Jim

I think the old GTD Outlook add-on was sunsetted some time ago, and the landscape has changed a lot. I would stay away from the apps you mention for everyday Next Action lists. Evernote and OneNote can be useful for project support. In my opinion, the Microsoft Todo app is a decent choice for a by-the-book GTD implementation. Todoist has a lot going for it, particularly if you have cross-platform needs, e.g. Windows and iPhone. The Davidco set-up guides could be very helpful to you in making a choice.

Hi Jim,
For cross-platform sync Between Windows and a Smartphone (iPhone or Android), while keeping GTD formats intact and synced, such as "Categories" and sub-folders, check out this vendor Companion Link: https://www.companionlink.com/ and their free Smartphone app suite called DejaOffice https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.companionlink.clusbsync

I will add that TaskTask does a good job keeping the categories in place between Outlook Tasks and my iphone and iPad.
