The Palm memo app, or the palm freehand notes program. Both come with palms.
Daynotez
You could try Daynotez from www.natara.com, it also has a desktop version - works really well, you can setup templates etc. to make entry really fast, use keywords etc. If your palm has a mic, you can use it to record voice messages as well. It can copy in any tasks, events, and memos from the palm databases. I've used Daynotez since 2005 and really enjoy it. It's not free though.
