Small help for newbies

I'm only 2-3 months into GTD so I'm far from being an expert but I wanted to pass along something that might be helpful to others.

Start a log or diary to record your successes and failures for the week regarding the process. Review your prior entries and write a new entry when you do your weekly review. I also built a checklist for the weekly review that I print and manual check each week. The list keeps me from missing anything and reminds me of steps I've added for my own version of the system such as the diary. GTD is a great system but there are lots of moving parts so keeping a log or diary can help you see where you failed and think about what you could do to avoid repeating mistakes as well as help you see when things went well and if there are lessons to be learned there also.

That's awesome!

Agreed. Anything that allows you to iterate and change before repeating give better chances at success ;)
